![]() When I got the Legacy Digital collection a few years ago, I was able to take all my important sounds and put them in the computer. Yes you can! I have (2) T-3's (M1 architecture) that I programmed my own sounds into for years. James Steele wrote:Do you know if the plugs can import Sysex? For example, if my friend who has a hardware WS and has custom patches, could he share them with me to load in the VI? And someone just recently mentioned elsewhere that it has the best "lo-res" finger snap sound for use in blending with other synth drum and early digital drum machine sounds (realistic finger snaps don't blend that well with CR-78/TR-808/DMX/Linndrum/SDS-5/RX5 etc.).įor those who like Wavestation, this is about as good as it gets (just as with M1), as literally every commercial sound bank ever released - and a few extras as well - is included.īTW, Korg dumped Stinkosoft/Frankensteinberg's eLicenser last year after throwing their hands up in despair regarding ongoing problems, so no need to worry about needing to buy a dongle for those who have no dongle or only have iLok or Yellow Tools. I use the clock sounds - with heavy processing and mangling - as a stand-in for a teletype sound if I'm doing spots that are for news type program segues or themes. I rarely use M1, but it's still worth it for the couple of sounds that seem unique to it. It covers synth basses, leads, pads, and sound effects with equal aplomb. Now that it's being discussed, I really MUST recommend Mono/Poly, which I find the most versatile soft synth in my entire VI collection. I didn't see the prices at the time, but it seems very reasonable even in comparison to discounted KLC full-suite packages. ![]() I was debating whether to post this here when it was announced last night, but didn't remember much interest in KLC here.
